Application
1. Silicone Oil are used as mould release agent in plastic and rubber parts. It gives good finish to product. It also forms a protective layer which protect the product from moisture, chemicals and fumes.
2. As a protective coating on high voltage overhead line insulators. As a water proof agent cum sealant in switches, battery terminals, cable and cable connections, threaded connection in instruments.
3. Sealant cum lubricant for glass joints, stop cocks, plug valves, control valves, ceramic plug cocks and chemical process equipment. Lubrication of synthetic rubber ‘O’ rings, seal and gaskets. As a release agent in plastic, PVC and Polymers.
4. Silicone Oil can also be used as Heat transfer media, Damping fluid, Hydraulic fluid, Auxiliary for manufacturer of cosmetics and pharmaceuticals.
