LYRIN LN-50 is used for formulating auto and home care products where a durable gloss is desired.

LYRIN LN-50 is also used to give leather and textiles a durable, soft amino silicone finish.

Processing:

LN-203 Silicone Fluid can be applied neat, from solution, or emulsion. Suitable solvents are aliphatic and aromatic hydrocarbons, chlorinated hydrocarbons, esters, higher alcohols, and ketones.

Most textile processes are waterbased. Hence LN-203 Silicone Fluid is mainly applied fromemulsion. LN-203 Silicone Fluid is suitable for the formulation of microemulsions and macroemulsions.

LN-203 Silicone Fluid can be use as sole active substance in softener emulsions or in combination with other components, e.g. paraffines, esters of fatty acids, etc. Compatibility of the components has to be checked in each individual case.

Emulsions of LN-203 Silicone Fluid are diluted to the optimum concentration for thespecific fabric. Application can be done by padding or exhaustion.

STORAGE AND SHELF LIFE
When stored in the original, unopened containers between 10 and 400 C, LYRIN LN-50 has a shelf life of 24 months from date of manufacture. PACKAGING LYRIN LN-50 is available in 20 Kg and 200 Kg containers.
